FuelRoute pulls real-time prices from the UK Government's Fuel Finder API — every petrol station in the country, updated within 30 minutes of any price change — and ranks stations by a blend of price and distance so the cheapest option is always the smartest one.

See fuel stations on an interactive map or as a sortable list. Filter by fuel type, adjust the search radius from 1 to 20 miles, and sort by price or distance. Each station shows live prices, the retailer, and how far away it is.

Route Planning

Planning a longer journey? Enter your destination and FuelRoute searches a corridor along your route for the cheapest stations. Adjust the corridor width from 1 to 5 miles. Stations are ranked by a scoring algorithm that balances price against detour time — so you're not driving 20 minutes off the motorway to save 2p.

CarPlay

Browse nearby stations and view the map — all from your car display. Colour-coded price pins show cheap, mid, and expensive stations at a glance. Tap any station to navigate directly via Apple Maps.

Favourites

Save your preferred stations and they sync across all your devices via iCloud. Quick access to the places you already know and trust.

How It Works

FuelRoute fetches data from the UK Government's Fuel Finder API via a CloudFlare Worker proxy cache. The Worker handles authentication and refreshes prices every 5 minutes. The app refreshes from cache every 30 minutes. No subscription. No ads.

Privacy First

No tracking. No ads. No data collection. Location is used only to find nearby stations and is never sent anywhere. Your favourites sync via iCloud and stay on your devices.

Requires iOS 26 or later. CarPlay support requires a compatible vehicle.

Fuel prices sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder API under The Motor Fuel (Open Data) Regulations 2025. Covers all 7,600+ UK fuel stations. Prices update within 30 minutes of any change at the pump.
